The IEEE EMC society
seem to still think crosstalk between parallel conductors is a
combination of mutual capacitance and mutual inductance.
Microwave engineers knew this was not
true, and knew about the two modes, even mode and odd mode, (B M Oliver,
Proc.IRE, November 1954) when in
1964 I came on the scene and further discovered the two velocities.
