Family Institute < >
That is very good news about Ivor. Praise be to God for his
full recovery. We need men like Ivor with vision.
His analysis of the so-called
"Family Law" industry has proven to be spot on, albeit with a subtle
rearrangement of the words.
The scam is very simple – and this
applies across the board by the feminist/secularist/Marxist hegemony who control the levers of power of the State, not just now
in Family Law. It involves the State creating memes which dupe, seduce or bully
people with rights to believe that they no longer have such rights or forget
they ever had them (Animal Farm!) and must "claim" them from the
State.
We use the acronym "FLOSS"
in the context that a person who is corralled (duped, seduced, bullied) into
making a "claim" to the State and so appearing to be giving their
informed consent to the engagement is a victim of
"FLOSS" which stands for the Family Law Organised Scam
Syndrome.
It is obvious in the context of
Family Law how parents with the lawful control of their children have been
duped into applying or responding to a claim to be able to control their
children from the State who has no such authority but it is interesting that
this same scam is also now applied to how the State operates generally here in
Ireland.
As an example we have a new so-called
"Property Tax" where a person is never sent a Bill (i.e. the State
never makes a claim itself - because it doesn't have lawful authority to do so)
but the State puts the word around and produces forms whereby the
"occupant" of a property is "invited/required" to submit
their own valuation of their property and so "claim" whatever amount
of tax they should pay!
As far as I can see this is the first
"tax" which is not a flat tax, i.e. it varies in line with the
amount, which is not based on an actual transaction - so the value is fictional
and the payment is entirely "voluntary" albeit with stern warnings of
penalties to those who "pay" late.
Again there is an Irish Water company
invented by the State out of thin air who now claims to control all our water
(without ever having paid a cent for the infrastructure of the local group
water schemes that the people themselves paid for originally). Again no Bills
are being sent out by the State but forms whereby the "occupier" can
"claim" an allowance for the number of people living in the
household. So not only do they make the people pay voluntarily without a Bill
they are harvesting all our private details in the process. By the way they
just happen to want us to give them our bank account details while we are about
ir!
So Ivor was
right all along. I can't remember the name he put on it - but the key to
survival in this totalitarian State is non-engagement and wait for the Bill which
will never come!

Dear Eugen,
I have just called the hospital.
There is no problem about consent and no news as yet. Ivor
is having an operation right now.
His nurse spoke English, but it was
difficult to get any information, she just said that she could not tell us
anything at the moment and that he was with the doctor right now having the
operation.
I don't know what the operation is.
The hospital do not have any other plans as to where
he will be until after the operation.

Ivor,
Sorry to hear that you are not well,
it sounds like you are in the right place now.
You must think it rather a pity that

I have been reading with interest

Presumably spice was written using "classical" me theory. Does spice
predict the results of the experiment accurately?
Of course I do not expect a reply any

Hi Eugen
and Dana,
Thank you so much, Eugen, for keeping us updated and for being so kind to Ivor.
I've just spoken to Ivor and he seemed in good spirits, but quite tired.
Ivor told me they did surgery yesterday to
assess the growth in his brain and they found that the growth is 'not life
threatening' and 'not cancer'.
He was joking about all the comical /
ridiculous things that happen when you're in hospital, including the journey
you mentioned with the 'VIP' ambulance.
Ivor was served his lunch after a few
minutes so I'm going to try and call back a bit later.
Thanks,

Dear Ivor,
I was sorry to learn that you are in hospital,
but I’m sure that you are in good hands and getting the best possible
treatment. I feel a kind of kinship because I have just come out of hospital
myself, hence my delay in contacting you. I am now learning again to live with
a new hip – my left one – which has just been replaced. I received a new right
hip ten years ago, but my convalescence this time is slightly more complicated
because my left knee was replaced last March, and the hip exercises I am now
being encouraged to perform conflict with the knee exercises I have been doing
for the past five months. I have also been in and out of hospital six or eight
times during the past two years to have small skin cancers cut out. Fortunately
the biopsies to date haven’t discovered the dreaded melanoma. Heigh-ho!
I think the last time we saw each
other was in Cambridge after the Trinity College luncheon seven years ago, when
you met my wife Jean. We started a brief discussion on electromagnetic theory,
but Jean and I had to catch our coach home. During the following years you have
kindly copied me in to your extended email discussions on EM theory, which I
have found quite fascinating, especially your arguments with Pepper and
Josephson. I didn’t join in myself because I didn’t think that I could make a
useful contribution. My own studies were concerned with the integration of
mechanical engineering with electronics and on-line real- time computer
control, a subject area now referred to as “mechatronics”.
If I may bore you with a brief
summary of my background: I left Mill Hill School (also attended by Kurt Metzer) in 1955 with an open entrance exhibition to Trinity
College, Cambridge, where I sandwiched the mechanical sciences tripos course (where I met you in 1956) with a two-year
mechanical /manufacturing engineering craft apprenticeship. In
1959 after graduating I joined
Elliott Automation (later to become part of GEC-Marconi), where I designed
electronic circuitry for guided weapons, computers and radar control. I also
completed a one-year master's course in precision engineering at the College of
Aeronautics, (later to become Cranfield University),
sponsored by my employing company. In 1968 I was invited to return to Cranfield and I helped found the Cranfield
Unit for Precision Engineering, one of the first 'campus companies', where I
was responsible for electronics, control engineering and computing; in 1983 I
became Professor of Machine Systems. I was appointed NCR Industrial Professor
of Mechatronics at Dundee University in 1989, and a
year later I became secretary-general of the European Mechatronics
Co-ordination Group and chairman of the UK Mechatronics
Forum. I took early retirement in 1999, but continued to give lectures and
conference presentations at venues around the world including the Royal
Institution in London.
My joint interests in both mechanical
and electronic engineering go back to my childhood. I was born on
Christmas Day 1937 and throughout World War 2 I lived in London where my father
ran an engineering business – Dinsdale Engineering Co
Ltd, Leeds Place, Tollington Park, London N4 –
employing about fifty hands making jigs, tools and fixtures for the burgeoning
mass-production industry. The company also built novel special-purpose machines
(designed by my dad) which included machines for making the first table-tennis
balls made by condensing gas, the first glass buttons made by sintering
powdered glass, and some early work in moulded plastics (this was in the 1940s
and ‘50s).
As a child I learned how to operate a
wide range of machine tools and how to make precision models in wood and metal,
and hence at Cambridge I was excused the otherwise compulsory practical
exercises in the workshop. At the same time, a bank-manager neighbour whose
hobby as a radio 'ham' was designing and building his own equipment (mainly
shortwave receivers and transmitters, using thermionic valves, of course)
taught me practical electronics. I was much in demand by my two younger
brothers to make radio control kit for their model aircraft.
When I was 16 the first transistors
became available to amateurs, and I taught myself how to use these new-fangled
things; for my 2nd year “project” at Cambridge I built a portable transistor
radio in a small cigar box, which actually worked!
One of my life-long interests has
been music and its reproduction. In 1961 I co-designed the world's first
transistor hi-fi amplifier (described on websites as 'the grand-daddy of them
all') which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. More recently the
Townshend 'Rock' record player, based on my original patented design, was
described by HiFi Choice (June 2008) and Positive
Feedback (Dec 2011) as 'the best vinyl player we’ve ever heard'. I have always
believed firmly that, when properly played and cared for, vinyl LPs can provide
a more pleasing and realistic sound than any of the popular digital media.
During the 1990s I gave a series of
illustrated lecture-demonstrations – known as 'analogue/digital shoot-outs' –
at venues around the UK including the Royal Institution in London, at which
astonished audiences listened to a range of musical examples recorded on both
LPs and CDs and found themselves having to agree that, when played on up-
market equipment, the LPs did indeed sound better.
Looking back over my life I realise
how fortunate I have been. Just as I was finishing my education and
apprenticeship, semiconductors, computers, guided weapons, space travel,
robotic manufacturing machines, lasers and digital sound were being developed,
and I was in the right place at the right time to play a part in all of this
exciting work, as my 18 patented inventions and two books bear witness.
At one time I feared that my diverse
interests in mechanical engineering, electronics, control and computing would
write me off as just another 'Jack of all trades'; but fortunately I was again
in the right place at the right time to help mould these subjects into the now
well-established discipline of ‘mechatronics’. I see
that some commentators and websites have described me as “the father of British
mechatronics”. I refute this...but I just might have
been the midwife!
My first marriage, which bore four
sons and a daughter, now adults, ended in 1988; three years later I married
Jean and we now live happily at Lovat Fields
Retirement Village in Milton Keynes, where I paint in oils and watercolours, I
am secretary of the Woodwork and Gardening Groups, I compile the village’s
internal directory, and until recently was a part-time election officer for
Milton Keynes Council.
I apologise for the unduly personal
nature of the above, but I hope it explains why I didn’t feel either
knowledgeable or competent to contribute to your extended discussion on
electromagnetic theory, interesting though I found it.
Dear Ivor,
Jean and I are thinking of you, and we wish you, and
those caring for you, wisdom and strength at this difficult time.
As ever,
Jack Dinsdale

Your comments on the decline of science and, in the past, the current problems

I'm also embroiled in that area though I look forward to returning to science.

Dear Eugen
Thank you for the bulletins on Ivor's health. It's great to hear that there have
been many messages of support from his friends and colleagues. He has
ploughed a lonely furrow but with a lot of good humour.
Which reminds me:
If surgery is agreed upon, Ivor may like to reproduce a comment made by a friend of
mine to the brain surgeon shortly before her operation: "I hope you have a
good sense of tumour". The surgeon found this so funny that any
tension was immediately resolved and the outcome was a complete success.
That was several years ago, and the patient is still well!
Please pass on my very best wishes.

numbers
Brian prefers to do this via you via

I have already spent hours talking to

He is anxious to convey his technical
thoughts as he does not know how long he has left to live.
He suggests that the indications are
not good medically.
I plan when I return to Wales to record
his thoughts as I have a suitable recording device.
I can then upload these files as
required.
Ivor does seem to be in very good spirits

I think his ward-mates are probably
irritated as he is talking all day and
the person opposite him is particularly
irritated!

Dear Eugene
I tried to telephone Ivor yesterday and successfully got through on the third
attempt
only to find him busy elsewhere (I think
it was toiletry). I hope the nurse relayed my message
to him. I told him to hang in there, I
was thinking about him, and that I loved him.
I pray that his transfer to
Neurosurgery will be very soon. There are so many ways to attack
such tumors
including Gamma knife, proton etc.
My other suggestion is to enjoy,
relax, meditate, escape with music - my choice would be anything written by
Mozart; the Dichterliebe -Robert Schumann exquisite
-at his song writing best-love songs for Clara Schumann; Adagio
(Vivaldi); Benjamin Britten's Fantasia (written for Goossens)
- a concerto written for oboe (of course) and strings; finally,a)
Dowlais Male Voice Choir - must have them singing the
hymn "Gwahoddiad" (Invitation) and b)
10,000 Voices 11 with Shirley Bassey and the world
choir- conducted by Owain Arwel
Hughes- included is a fantastic rendering by a Welsh tenor of Kalinka.
I believe that the brain loves to be
bathed and caressed in music - shutting down all stresses and anxieties that
have sneaked their way in.
Please share this email with Ivor (thank you for copying it) and I expect to have a chat
with him on the telephone - I will persist later today and tomorrow.
Give him my love and I thank him for
squiring me to our HCS "prom" (1953?) and making me feel like the
Belle of the ball.
Sweet memories of happy days.
Jean
with kisses.

Eugen,
Thank you for the updates on Ivor. Let him know that there are three people here in
Atlanta, GA USA pulling for him … and to keep giving those nurses hell ! ?
I didn’t see in your messages where
the tumor was located. My father had a large tumor near the cerebellum in late Dec 2011. He decided
against any treatment for it and passed away in Feb 2012. One thing that helped
tremendously with the symptoms (mainly, being unable to walk correctly) was
large daily doses of corticosteroids (dexamethasone).
They reduced the inflammation caused by the tumor.
Within a few days my father was able to hit a golfball
at the driving range and walk around freely. Of course, it was only a temporary
relief but it significantly improved his quality of life for a few weeks.

Dear Eugen,
Thanks so much for your update. I
will be flying back to England in just over a week.
I received this tribute to Ivor,
perhaps you might pass it on to him.
Best wishes,
Dana

Subject: Message about Ivor from Ken Brownlee
I wish for the best for Ivor. He actually inspired me technically as a young
impressionable kid, and gave me the Texas Instruments TTL Databook
in 1976 I think. I poured over that book for hours and hours until I
understood digital logic. I think i still have it in
my basement. When I was named finalist in a prestigious national science
competition my senior year in high school they asked me my inspiration and I
said Ivor. The competition council sent Ivor a letter thanking him for his inspiration. Ivor wrote me a nice letter back. (Also
probably in my garage somewhere.)

Would an email be welcomed too?

Eugen,
Thank you very much for the message.
I knew Ivor had other health problems but this comes
as a shock.
As you probably know I am in the US. Ivor and I worked together at the Motorola Integrated
Circuits R&D lab in the mid 1960's. The excellent results of our efforts
were largely due to Ivor's intelligence. We parted
ways in 1966 when I returned to Texas to work for Texas Instruments where I put
the fruits of our labors to good use.
My curiosity after seeing many of the
things he put on the Internet caused me to find a way to reconnect with him in
2012. We exchanged stories regarding what had happened in our lives. He seemed
interested in keeping me up on the things he continued to pursue. Hence the
reason why I show up on his email contacts lists.
When you see him please give him my
best wishes and know he will always be in my thoughts. If will appreciate and
updates as you make them available.
With best regards,
Emory Garth

Dear Eugen
Tragic news - thanks for letting me
know. For various reasons I don't think I could phone him, but could you pass
on these thoughts to Ivor in some form, please?
I did not know Ivor
very well but in the old days when I was active in campaigning I was humbled by
his integrity, his unending dedication to the cause and my
his tireless energy. I gave up long ago when he kept going. At times,
when I have been at a very low ebb, it has always been
a great comfort to know that, amongst all the corrupt human trash that
constitutes the socio-legal establishment, there shone a beacon of hope in the
form of those like Ivor. I suspect he is not a
Christian but I hope it may give him some comfort to know that I shall pray for
God to be with him at this very difficult time.
Warmest regards
John

Currently, I am away until late
September. If I can, I will endeavour to visit him (probably Mon 22nd). I have just
had a friend pass away about a month ago from a brain tumour.

Hello Eugen
Thank you for the news about Ivor - awful though it is. Ivor
and I studied advanced advanced maths together (only
two of us) in the 6th Form at Holyhead and have exchanged correspondence and
met at school reunions fairly often since that time. I hope to speak to
him but will you please tell him how sorry I am to have the news and give him
my very best wishes and tell him I will be thinking of him. He was, and
is, quite the most intelligent person I ever met and I thoroughly enjoyed our
conversations.
regards
Rex Cadwaladr

I am
very sorry to hear that. I hope and pray they can get it under control.
His last lecture was very good, and it
was starting to "click" and I was starting to understand more what he
was saying. There is a lot more he can teach us. The world still needs him.

assumed he was immortal.
Best wishes

My thoughts and prayers are with Ivor Catt.
Had the pleasure of meeting him in
2003. His passion for making the
world a better place for Men and boys continues to inspire me.

I have sent Ivor
a text. Peter let me know. Thank you.

Hi Eugen,
Thanks for the reply. I tried to call
Ivor but my VOIP company has a block (to prevent
fraud) on International Mobile calls as it costs $2.86 / minute I can get it
unblocked but not until next week now and then we are heading out to remote
areas on way home. Let me know if he gets a a
computer when they move him to London.
Yes his websites will be an issue
when they come up for renewal the ownership needs to be transferred to
someone before he passes on I guess he will need to pass binding power of
attorney to someone close and inform his hosting company. They are a bit of a
jungle with so many articles and links.
I did forward an email to Ivor on 21-22nd August from Peter McNeall
ex UK now in USA retired who believes Ivor is correct
with the Wakefield Experiment. I have attached his proof document maybe
you could print it out for Ivor as I did not get a
reply so Ivor may have missed it or was too ill to
have a chance too.
I do believe that the Wakefield
experiment dose provide proof and I intend to try and
think up other experiments that make it cleared or disprove. My maths is very
simple and rely on practical experiments and my
technical skills.
Ivor has written up some other
experiments which I will attempt o try in the coming months
Give him my best wishes.
Regards Tony Wakefield
