There is no need for confidentiality in this matter.

Only recently I grasped the reason for the code of omerta of the academic mafia, which extends beyond academia and includes the professional institutions like the Royal Society, IEEE, and IET. As my co-author Malcolm says; “They’re all scared.” Some of them behave arrogantly to hide their insecurity.

Teachers and lecturers teach from text books, which embody the current dogma, or canon. The same kind of people then act as examiners, to check whether their students, or parrots, have learned what the examiners know, but not examining the students for what the examiners don’t know. The student rises higher and higher in the qualification stakes on a narrow band of knowledge. He himself and society think he is expert in a much broader range of knowledge. As a taxpayer he pays for the funding of the dogma. He also pays his subscriptions to learned institutions to protect that same dogma.

When finding out that Howie and Josephson had a poor grasp of electromagnetic theory, it did not occur to me to point out that I knew nothing of their several expertise – transmission electron microscopy for Howie, and the Josephson Junction for Josephson. That is, I was joining in their game so as to not make myself vulnerable. However, I have now caused them to break the code of omerta of the academic mafia, and have sufficient copy from them to show their technical weakness outside their narrow field of expertise. Now I can safely point out that, like them, my expertise is limited, perhaps merely to electromagnetic theory.

We all rise to our position via a narrow range of expertise, and then convince ourselves, and society reassures us, that our range of expertise is much broader.

Outside our competence, we have a limited grasp of old knowledge, while at the same time being pioneers in our own narrow field. As peer reviewers, we block any attempt at scientific advance ahead of the text books in all other fields, about which our grasp is limited to the text books, which we think is the latest State of the Art.

Digital electronics was an extreme case, when the dramatic switch from analog, sinusoidal radio and radar was overtaken by the high-speed digital computer in 1965. The “experts” dug their heels in, so that today, 65 years later, the only signal down a transmission line taught and understood is the sine wave. The signal from your computer down a USB cable telling your printer to print (a single voltage step) is outside the teaching and understanding and not in any text books throughout the world. Jackson only has a sine wave going down a transmission line. Howie, whose knowledge of electromagnetism is limited to reading his colleague in Trinity, Jackson 1962, predating the computer, tells me physical reality is composed of sine waves!

........ In past centuries, the greatest killer of women was fever following childbirth. One

woman in six died of this fever. In 1795, Alexander Gordon of Aberdeen suggested that the

fevers were infectious processes, and he was able to cure them. The consensus said no. In

1843, Oliver Wendell Holmes claimed puerperal fever was contagious, and presented

compelling evidence. The consensus said no. In 1849, Semmelweiss demonstrated that

sanitary techniques virtually eliminated puerperal fever in hospitals under his management.

The consensus said he was a Jew, ignored him, and dismissed him from his post. There was

in fact no agreement on puerperal fever until the start of the twentieth century. Thus the

consensus took one hundred and twenty five years to arrive at the right conclusion despite the

efforts of the prominent "skeptics" around the world, skeptics who were demeaned and

ignored. And despite the constant ongoing deaths of women.

There is no shortage of other examples. In the 1920s in America, tens of thousands of people,

mostly poor, were dying of a disease called pellagra. The consensus of scientists said it was

infectious, and what was necessary was to find the "pellagra germ." The US government

asked a brilliant young investigator, Dr. Joseph Goldberger, to find the cause. Goldberger

concluded that diet was the crucial factor. The consensus remained wedded to the germ

theory. Goldberger demonstrated that he could induce the disease through diet. He

demonstrated that the disease was not infectious by injecting the blood of a pellagra patient

into himself, and his assistant. They and other volunteers swabbed their noses with swabs

from pellagra patients, and swallowed capsules containing scabs from pellagra rashes in what

were called "Goldberger's filth parties." Nobody contracted pellagra. The consensus

continued to disagree with him. There was, in addition, a social factor-southern States

disliked the idea of poor diet as the cause, because it meant that social reform was required.

They continued to deny it until the 1920s. Result-despite a twentieth century epidemic, the

consensus took years to see the light.

Probably every schoolchild notices that South America and Africa seem to fit together rather

snugly, and Alfred Wegener proposed, in 1912, that the continents had in fact drifted apart.

The consensus sneered at continental drift for fifty years. The theory was most vigorously

denied by the great names of geology-until 1961, when it began to seem as if the sea floors

were spreading. The result: it took the consensus fifty years to acknowledge what any

schoolchild sees.

And shall we go on? The examples can be multiplied endlessly. Jenner and smallpox, Pasteur

and germ theory. Saccharine, margarine, repressed memory, fiber and colon cancer, hormone

replacement therapy...the list of consensus errors goes on and on.

Finally, I would remind you to notice where the claim of consensus is invoked. Consensus is

invoked only in situations where the science is not solid enough. Nobody says the consensus

of scientists agrees that E=mc2. Nobody says the consensus is that the sun is 93 million miles

away. It would never occur to anyone to speak that way. .......”

I assumed DJHPP and O, the men I chose to represent “the science establishment”, knew some science. However, Fauci, with a multi-billion-dollar budget, was NIH and NIAID and CDC adviser to both Presidents Trump and Biden. Yet Nobel prize-winner Mullis says; “Fauci doesn’t know anything about anything.”

The behaviour of all of DJHPP and O is identical with how they would behave if they knew nothing about anything, and, as Malcolm suggests, were frightened of being “found out”. For instance, J did not know the relative phase of E and H, electric field and magnetic field. H correctly says he was foolish to bring the photon into considering the charged capacitor. For all we know, these are just the tip of an iceberg of ignorance. All we really know about them is that they knew how to get to the top of the Cavendish, or how to get a Nobel prize. P wrote rubbish about Cattq.

If Howie really did not know anything about anything, he could be expected to dismiss my articles about Maxwell’s Equations as “outrageous”, and be unable to elaborate on this one word. Since the Fauci precedent, he has to show us that he is not just another Fauci by enlarging on his one word “outrageous”. Otherwise he is a Fauci.

I have ample documentation by the five or so people I selected to represent the "science establishment" re electromagnetic theory. We can extrapolate their incompetent communications to deduce that all alleged "experts" in the world on electromagnetic theory have a frighteningly low grasp of the subject. It goes far beyond DHJPP to Pieraccini, Selleri, Pelosi, Rees - the list goes on and on. Better to point out that no accredited "expert" in the world has made any competent comment on cattq or the Wakefield experiments. Nobody in the world has approached Alex Yakovlev to discuss his Royal Society article http://www.ivorcatt.co.uk/yak.htm which states; "that there is no such a thing as a static electric field in a capacitor. " The Little Men are even too frightened to attack Alex for publishing that.

The cupboard is bare. All we have is frightened little men pretending to be expert on the subject, afraid of being "found out". That is why all except DHJPP and O are silent, and these few were forced by me to communicate.

Malcolm says; "They are all scared; they don't care; they don't understand".

From childhood on, they have all been kidded into thinking that electromagnetic theory is highly mathematical, by teachers, lecturers and text book writers who have no grasp of the physical basis of electromagnetism. They all remain confused about the relative phase of E and H, which is crucial.
